Who Can Benefit From an Immigration Waiver?

Every person coming to the U.S. falls into one or another of the established categories and channels for immigration. Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents can enter without additional paperwork and approval. In this regard, the government issues different visas allowing entry, ranging from tourism to professional functions to employment visas. These permissions allow a person to enter the U.S. temporarily, and each visa has its own requirements for entry.

However, a person may become inadmissible based on reasons stated above. If applicable, a waiver may waive the underlying inadmissibility and allow the person to enter the U.S.
