🚨 Scam Alert 🚨 We recently heard from a colleague whose client received a suspicious call from someone claiming to be with USCIS. The caller told her they were ready to approve their case but needed an immediate payment for a waiver application fee. Fortunately, the client checked with her attorney before sharing any financial information.
Don’t ever pay anyone on the phone who claims to be from USCIS. It is 100% fake. Obtain caller’s phone number, badge number, and call your lawyer! Stay vigilant, especially if your case is delayed as scammers often prey on applicants waiting for updates.
